Continue up to the second floor, and take a left. Head over the the edge of the cliff there, and look underneath the platforms on your right to find this armor locker. Cut through there and into the container to its left to find this Spartan Core. There’s an open container there with some guns and ammo inside. Stand facing the grav lift, and look to the right. The first Spartan Core in the Tower is on the ground near the grav lift - it’ll be easier to find it once the area is cleared out and the grav lift is active. Listen for the telltale beeping, if you’re having trouble locating it. When stand at the hallway’s exit (or the courtyard’s entrance, if you prefer), the Banished Audio Log is inside the first structure directly ahead of you. That hallway ends at The Tower’s interior courtyard.
